The Striders Club Championship consists of 11 races throughout the year with your best 6 results to count, with the option of any full marathon counting towards the 6.

The scoring system to work as follows:

1^st male and female ... 50 points
2^nd male and female ... 49 points
3^rd male and female ... 48 points
4^th male and female ... 47 points
5^th male and female ... 46 points
6^th male and female ... 45 points etc. etc.

All fully paid-up members qualify and points are awarded for your Lytchett Manor Striders place within the races. Prizes are awarded to the first three male/female runners and then for various age categories in 5-year bands. The are lots of trophies up for grabs,which are presented at the annual Awards Dinner/Dance.

• Any full marathon in 2009 can replace one of the above races
